I’m Beth Declercq!

My husband Tommy & I moved from the city to start homesteading over 10 years ago with the dream of growing nourishing food for our family.

We quickly realized though - homesteading at the level we would need to in order to REALLY let us break free from the grocery store - would take approx. 190 hours a week and thousands of dollars (which we definitely did not have).

We needed to figure out a way to do it with him working off farm - and me raising and schooling our (now) 8 kids and keeping the household running.

But man.. money was SLIM over here!

Thankfully, our limitation turned into a blessing - it forced us to really learn to be intentional with what we little we did have & make the most of it.

Today, our small homestead not only grows the majority of the food for our family of 10 — but it even generates enough income to cover its own costs too! Meaning my husband can spend less time working off farm and more time with us.
